Appointment Types
Full Skin Check/Yearly Skin Exam
A comprehensive head-to-toe skin examination to screen for skin cancer and evaluate moles, freckles, and other skin lesions. This appointment is dedicated to your skin examination only. Additional skin concerns will require a separate appointment. If a suspicious lesion is identified during your examination, a biopsy may be performed the same day when medically appropriate.
Evaluation of 1–2 skin lesions (moles, growths, or spots). Because these appointments are shorter, they are designed to evaluate one or two lesions only. Additional lesions or other skin conditions will require a separate appointment. If a suspicious lesion is identified, a biopsy may be performed the same day if medically indicated.
Spot Check
Skin, Hair, and Nail Conditions
Evaluation and treatment of skin or hair conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, hair loss, and similar concerns. To ensure adequate time for a thorough evaluation, this appointment focuses on one primary concern. If you have multiple concerns, additional appointments may be recommended.
For patients returning for follow-up of a previously evaluated skin, hair, or nail condition, medication management, biopsy results, or treatment response. Due to the shorter appointment length, new concerns may require a separate visit.
